Setting up a virtual alias table in postfix on whatexit.org
What is this?
This is a set of aliases that apply to a domain. If
there are no matches, the whatexit.org alias table is
checked as a last resort.
This is different from the virtualization stuff, that
is handled by the "virtual" transport, that lets you
have different mail boxes for each virtual domain.
Steps
- Make sure the domain is NOT listed in $mydestination
- Make sure the domain IS listed in $virtual_alias_domains
- Make sure your map is listed in $virtual_alias_maps
- If you want unknown@DOMAIN to go to tal+DOMAIN+unknown@whatexitSPAMSUX.org, edit /etc/postfix/virtual_regexp
- If there are mailman lists specific to that domain, add to the virtual_regexp file
